Kourtney Kardashian confirms first pregnancy with Travis Barker in surprise reveal

Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant for the first time with husband Travis Barker. The reality star shared the news with the drummer by holding a 'Travis, I'm Pregnant' sign at a Blink-182 concert on Friday.

Following the reveal, a shocked Barker rushed off stage and ran towards his wife before lifting her in celebration as the pair kissed, the Mirror reports. The sign was a cute call back to one of her rock star partner's music videos, All The Small Things, in which a fan holds the same sign as the band performs.

The mum-of-three shares two sons, Mason and Reign, and one daughter, Penelope, with ex-partner Scott Disick. Travis is a dad to son Landan and daughter Alabama with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

After marrying in 2022 in a lavish Italian ceremony, the celebrity couple have been open on their plans to have children together. On her family TV show The Kardashians, Kourtney was transparent on her IVF journey, before stopping treatment for health reasons.

But the couple didn't give up on trying to naturally conceive, with Kourtney running off during an episode of the show for a 15-minute sex session with her husband - leaving sister Khloe bemused. Kourtney had gone to extreme and bizarre lengths to improve the pair's chances of conception, including drinking Travis' semen and vaginal steaming.

Kourtney and Travis' IVF journey started after the 44-year-old froze her eggs prior to the start of their relationship in 2020. However, she explained that most of her eggs “didn't survive the thaw” and “none of them made it to an embryo.”

Kourtney added: “The freezing of the eggs isn't guaranteed. I think that that's a misunderstanding. People do it thinking that it's like a safety net and it's not.” She added: “We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that's a baby, then I believe that it will happen."

Kourtney also shared that the process had been physically and mentally difficult and "took a toll" on the Poosh founder, and the medications she took reportedly put her into "early menopause."

"It took a toll on me physically. My health is still impacted because it's hormones and also mentally, it definitely took a toll,” she explained. “I think being happy is most important and being a good parent to my kids. We are just embracing whatever is meant to be will be.”

Earlier this month Kourtney left fans convinced she was pregnant with a cryptic clue to reveal she is expecting. The pregnant reality star shared a number of biblical quotes including one that read: "We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. - Romans 8:22."

Kourtney's post came shortly after drummer husband Travis had fans questioning his own post from behind the scenes of a recent New York gig. Posting on TikTok, the musician, 47, shared the standing ovation the band received, with Kourtney present in the video.

She wore a black T-shirt with white overalls and fans immediately took to the post the suggest she was hiding a baby bump. Kourtney and Travis tied the knot in front of friends and family at a stunning Italian wedding in May 2022.

The pair, who got engaged in October 2021, said 'I do' at the ancient Castello Brown fortress in Portofino with Kourtney looking stunning in a white short lace Dolce & Gabanna dress which had a cathedral veil.

The European wedding was the third time Kourtney and Travis had walked down the aisle in two months. In April 2022 the pair shocked fans as they were pictured getting drunkenly hitched after partying at the Grammy Awards.

However, the boozy bride later admitted it was a prank after she and her beau had knocked back tequilas. "Practice makes perfect," Kourtney teased on Instagram as she shared a number of snaps from their Elvis themed Sin City bash.

A month later, the smitten pair said their vows for real at a very different second wedding in Santa Barbara. The couple married for real in a low-key affair at a local courthouse with none of Kourtney's famous family or her three children in attendance.

Only Kourtney's grandmother, MJ, and Travis' dad, Randy, were invited, with the pair acting as their witnesses. After the service, Kourtney shared some black and white photos from their photographer with the caption 'Till death do us part.'
