Australia's Kookaburras have completed a three-match sweep against New Zealand to lift the men's Oceania Cup - but the Hockeyroos have been agonisingly pipped to the women's trophy by their trans-Tasman rivals.
The Kookaburras wrapped up their dominant campaign in Darwin on Sunday with a 4-1 win victory over the Kiwis, securing the 3-0 series win and extending their unbeaten record in the competition since its inception in 1999.
