KOLKATA: The 17-year-old youth, who was found dead with a bullet injury near Hyde Road on July 20, has been identified as a resident of Karl Marx Sarani in Kidderpore. Student of an English-medium school, the teenager had recently started investing in shares but suffered losses. He borrowed money from his father, who owns several buses.
Police said the losses led him to taking his life. Cops have recovered his mobile phone, where he had searched for ways to end life. "We are investigating how he managed to get the weapon. He had boarded a bus towards Budge Budge around 7.40 pm on July 20 and got off at Hyde Road area where he later fired at himself," an officer said.
