KOLKATA: Kolkata Municipal Corporation's (KMC) health department has decided to reach out to gated communities across the city to increase booster dose coverage.
Mayor Firhad Hakim on Saturday said the civic body would conduct special vaccination camps at high-rises and housing complexes from next week. According to Hakim, though the demand for the booster dose was steadily rising across 144 KMC wards, the civic body would set up vaccination camps at large housing complexes so that the residents can avail the facility within the compound.
