KOLKATA: The CBI on Monday conducted raids at three premises across the city in connection to an alleged fraud at a nationalized bank. Three teams of the central investigating agency searched residential premises of the three bank employees at Newtown and Dattabad.
According to sources, the nationalized bank reported an alleged fraud in the transactions and the amount of fraud allegedly crossed Rs 800 crore. According to sources there were hundreds of unauthorized payments made erroneously to the customers of the bank.
