KOLKATA: A running Metro rake was repaired on Tuesday morning as the air conditioning system in four coaches developed a snag.
The problem was resolved on the moving train while commuters boarded and got down as usual between Mahanayak Uttam Kumar (Tollygunge) and Girish Park stations.
Officials of Metro Railway's public relations department said the incident occurred on a Dakshineswar-bound train around 10.30am.
Passengers of the four coaches complained that the cooling mechanism was not working. By 10:50 am, when the train entered Girish Park station, the repair work was done. The ACs resumed functioning.
