Kobbie Mainoo’s Man United future confirmed months after being frozen out by Ruben Amorim

Kobbie Mainoo is expected to sign a new five-year contract with Manchester United, with an announcement anticipated this week.
The new deal could keep the midfielder at Old Trafford until 2031 and includes a pay rise.
This marks a turnaround for Mainoo, who had considered a loan move when he was sidelined by former coach Ruben Amorim.
Under current manager Michael Carrick, Mainoo has become a key player, forming an effective partnership with Casemiro.
His contract renewal is crucial for United's future planning, especially as Casemiro is expected to depart at the end of the season.
