Knowsley recorded Liverpool city region's biggest weekly percentage fall in Covid infections

Knowsley had the biggest weekly percentage fall in positive Covid tests within the Liverpool City Region.

According to the latest data from Public Health England, Knowsley had 1,064 infections in the seven days ending January 30 - that's 316 fewer infections than the previous week.

This meant Knowsley's week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 23%.
