Harry Redknapp has called being manager of Everton Football Club an 'impossible job' after his nephew Frank Lampard was sacked on Monday with the club in the relegation zone.
Former Chelsea great Lampard is the sixth incumbent of the Goodison Park hot seat to be given his cards under the ownership of Farhad Moshiri and the seventh since David Moyes left the club for Manchester United in 2013.
Former Portsmouth, West Ham United and Bournemouth boss Redknapp has conceded that he felt that bad news was on the way for Lampard this week and doesn't hold out next hope for whoever is next the take the job either, pointing the finger at the Blues' recruitment record in the process.

Speaking to Laura Woods on TalkSPORT, Redknapp said: "I must admit, I had a strong feeling that it was coming. It's been a difficult job for Frank to take, but I think you've only got to look at the managers that they've had - they're not exactly second rate are they? You go from Ancelotti, Silva, who's done an amazing job at Fulham Ronald Koeman, Martinez, Sam Allardyce was there, Rafa Benitez - it's been incredible, no one can make it work there.
"I think the biggest problem has been the recruitment. They've got players on big wages, I know for a fact. They've got players who are on nearly £100,000 a week who can't move because their wages are so high and they're not top Premier League players basically, but they've been given these contracts. There's no movement to get people out and bring people in.
"Whoever takes that job, I don't care who they give it to, unless there's massive changes at the club it looks an impossible job to me."
On Tuesday, former Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has emerged as a possible candidate for the vacant position alongside Sean Dyche and former player Wayne Rooney.
