All court proceedings and clerk business in Knott County were suspended following the deadly floods nearly three months ago. A Supreme Court Administrative Order recognized the need to limit operations to only emergency matters as the courthouse sustained damage in the floods, law offices in the region were destroyed and mail service was interrupted.
