Legal and professional services business Knights has bolstered its corporate team in the Midlands with the appointment of a new partner.

She joins the firm's corporate team – which now boasts over 40 partners across its regional offices, 11 of whom are based in the Midlands.

Her appointment builds on recent hires to boost Knights' expertise in the Midlands. They include Gareth John and James Maynard, who recently joined as corporate partners in Birmingham and Leicester.
While partner Garon Anthony joined the team in Birmingham in late 2021, bringing considerable experience in resolving commercial disputes.
Recruitment director Tim Bates said: "At Knights we have a different way of doing things – and that includes our working culture.
"We're growing quickly, having recently invested in both York and Lincoln. That is helping us to continue to attract quality lawyers in a competitive talent market.
"We continue to strengthen our presence in the regions in which we operate and make good progress in becoming the premium legal and professional services business outside London."
Last month, Knights issued a profit warning which revealed revenues look set to be lower than expected in 2022. The company blamed the impact of Omicron and staff sickness.
