Knife attacker who stabbed friend for refusing to give him £2 dies while serving indefinite jail sentence

A knife attacker who was jailed indefinitely after stabbing his friend in the neck for refusing him £2 has died.

Jonathon Mark Hogg, of Middlesbrough, was deemed a danger to the public following the horrifying attack more than a decade ago, Teesside Live reports.

The 42-year-old walked up to a friend and knifed him in the neck - severing a vein, cutting an artery and scarring him for life, Teesside Crown Court heard in 2012. The attack unfolded after the victim refused to give the dangerous defendant £2.
