US rapper 50 Cent and Irish rap group Kneecap are among the first acts announced for TRNSMT 2025.
The hip hop star, famous for hits such as In Da Club and Candy Shop, will headline the music festival at Glasgow Green on Friday, July 11.
A wide range of musical acts including Snow Patrol, Biffy Clyro (below), The Script and Jamie Webster have also been announced for the three-day event next summer.
Scottish singer Rhianne Downey, who is currently touring with Beautiful South star Paul Heaton, will perform live on the Sunday as will Nina Nesbitt and Shed Seven.
Early bird tickets officially go on sale on Friday but fans can sign up for the presale before 9am on Thursday.
On Tuesday, organisers announced the first 30 acts confirmed for the 2025 festival.
50 Cent will headline on the festival’s opening day, hot off the heels of his first-ever Las Vegas residency scheduled for early 2025.
His performance will mark the first rapper to headline TRNSMT since Stormzy’s set in 2019.
Scots rock band Biffy Clyro will top the bill on the Saturday while Snow Patrol will close the festival in Sunday’s headline slot.
Festival director Geoff Ellis said: “After a record-breaking sell-out in 2024, we can’t wait to have everyone back for the eighth year of incredible live music.
“We’ve worked hard to pull together an eclectic lineup including homegrown headliners and global icons, spanning a range of genres we know music fans of all ages will love.
“There are plenty more acts and festival experiences to be announced next year so, keep your eyes peeled.”
