MALAPPURAM

The Kerala Muslim Jamat (KMJ) on Friday launched its month-long Ramzan campaign titled “Holy Ramzan, Holy Quran”. Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama district secretary K.P. Migdad Baqavi inaugurated the district level programme at Edakkara. Mr. Baqavi called upon the Muslim community to make spiritual gains out of Ramzan by helping others. KMJ district secretary Alavikutty Faisi presided over the function.

Apart from regular classes, the campaign will have food kit distribution, iftar gatherings, Quran sessions, and gatherings of traders, headload workers, and migrant workers. Twenty-one charity houses titled Darul Khairs will be built as part of the campaign.
