Klay Thompson taunted Dillon Brooks by counting off Golden State’s four titles with his fingers during Memphis’ win

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson gave Memphis Grizzlies forward/guard Dillon Brooks four reasons for his apathy at the latter’s trolling during Memphis’ 133-119 Saturday victory.

While the Warriors struggled to keep pace with a Ja Morant-less Grizzlies this weekend in Memphis, Thompson channeled Kobe Bryant and tried to diss Brooks by counting off four of his fingers to represent the four NBA titles that Golden State has won since 2015.

This was reportedly in response to Brooks yelling “You suck” to the Warriors from the Memphis bench.

As you well know by now, the Warriors and Grizzlies do not like each other. Thompson has taken a particular annoyance to Brooks as of late.

“I don’t care about Dillon Brooks,” Thompson told The Commercial Appeal on Saturday. “When he retires, I don’t think anyone will ever talk about Dillon Brooks ever again. I promise you. It’s sweet right now, but wait 10 years.”

Ouch. There appears to be no love lost between Thompson and Brooks and in the Warriors-Grizzlies rivalry in general.

Brooks didn’t let Thompson’s ring counts keep him from trying to stay in Golden State’s heads.

Brooks has already engaged in a feud with Warriors forward Draymond Green, and now he can cement Thompson on his list.

Brooks and Green have really made their rivalry one of the pettiest in the NBA, but the petty momentum could shift Thompson’s way.

While we’re not sure how the Western Conference will shape out come playoff time, we do know the world needs a Warriors-Grizzlies playoff series as soon as possible.
