Moses Moody had an impactful game off the bench against the Sacramento Kings. The 21-year-old guard impressed for the Golden State Warriors, providing energy and hustle to help his team take control of the game. Moody is in his third season with the Warriors, having been drafted with the 14th overall pick in 2021.
During his post-game press conference, Klay Thompson praised Moody’s performance and his hot start to the season. The veteran wing noted how there’s no limit to Moody’s potential and that he could have a big career ahead of him.
“I’m just seeing Mo being active.,” Thompson said, “…Mo’s just a gamer to me. He’s not afraid of the moment. He’s a great shooter. He’s a great athlete. He just does the little things to help you win. Whether it’s just keeping the play alive, getting a big rebound, hitting an open shot. And, to be 21 years old and doing all this, the sky’s the limit for Mo.”
Moody has looked vastly improved on the offensive end to begin the season. The Warriors have a deep guard rotation, but it would appear Steve Kerr is ensuring the young guard gets developmental minutes. Moody has the talent to become a key player for the franchise in the future and is already showing he’s ready to step into a bigger role when required.
"To be 21 years old and be doing all this, the sky is the limit for Mo."
