For their preseason finale against the Denver Nuggets on Friday at San Francisco’s Chase Center, the Golden State Warriors will get a pair of veterans back on the court.
On Thursday, Steve Kerr confirmed both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green would play in the preseason against the Nuggets on Friday night. However, veteran Andre Iguodala won’t suit up.

After his fight with Jordan Poole at practice last week that resulted in an undisclosed fine, Green has taken time away from the Warriors’ recent practices. On Thursday, the four-time champion returned to practice before the preseason finale against the Nuggets.
Green started in both of Golden State’s preseason stops against the Washington Wizards in Japan.
Thompson will be making his preseason debut against the Nuggets on Friday. Over the offseason, Thompson experienced a mental block due to his injury history that restricted his ability to play over the summer. After two season-ending injuries prior to his return to the court last season, the Warriors have been cautious with Thompson in training camp.
With Thompson back, Poole will return to a featured role in the second unit off the bench.
The Warriors will tip off against the Nuggets at 7 p.m. PT on Friday evening in the Bay Area.
