NEW DELHI: Over the years, many have tried to replicate MS Dhoni's iconic helicopter shot but haven't been able to do it successfully.
While some of them have come close, others tried their best and have managed to come up with their own versions of the famous hit.
KL Rahul, on Tuesday too joined the list, producing a superb shot, which resembled quite a bit to Dhoni's trademark shot.
In the match against Mumbai Indians, Rahul's shot, flick it over wide mid-on off Nuwan Thushara, caught the eye of many.
After the game, Rahul himself hilariously termed it a 'second copy' of the Dhoni iconic shot.
Rahul scored 28 in the game against MI, before falling to Hardik Pandya in the 8th over of LSG's chase of 145.
Lucknow eventually went on to win the game, registering their sixth win of the season in 10 matches. The win also propelled LSG to the third spot on the points table.
MI, on the other hand, succumbed to their 7th defeat and are languishing at the 9th spot.
