KOLKATA: If winning is a habit, then the Kolkata Knight Riders have inculcated it well as they became the first side to make the playoffs, for the first time since 2021, in this IPL by winning the rain-curtailed match against Mumbai Indians by 18 runs at the Eden Gardens on Saturday night.
Former Knights skipper Nitish Rana attributed the team's success to a great dressing room environment. "We win together, and we lose together; that's the dressing room environment we have. It's very important to place hands on each other's shoulders," Rana said in the post-match media interaction.
