KOLKATA: A PIL demanding a CBI probe into the death of singer KK was filed on Monday. The HC allowed the PIL to be filed after it was mentioned in the division bench of Chief Justice Prakash Srivastava and Justice Rajarshi Bharadwaj
The petitioner alleged it was the negligence by organizers and cops that led to “stressful conditions” created for the singer. On Monday, advocate Rabishankar Chattopadhyay argued there was utter mismanagement at Nazrul Mancha on that evening. Hence, the finer points of negligence behind the mismanagement need to be identified. tnn
