Venues around Kirkcudbright will be throwing open their doors this weekend for the annual arts and crafts trail.
More than 100 places around the town will be taking part, ensuring there is something for everyone to see.
Organiser Colin Saul said: “We have 133 venues around the town from galleries, houses, shops, gardens and open spaces.
“As always there is a whole mix of different ideas and techniques and we are totally inclusive.
“There are some new studios and new exhibits as well as some old favourites.
“There will be music every day from the new stage in Harbour Square. The welcome area will also be in Harbour Square where people can get their arts and crafts leaflet and plan out their tour because there are a few venues on the edges of town.
“Soaperie Gardens has evolved from a few gazebos into an arts and crafts village, including a Viking settlement area.
“There will be refreshments from cafes and some people will be offering them in their gardens so people can have a rest and relax.”
Attractions this year include a spectacular flying machine in Greengate, giving kids and adults the chance to dress up and have their picture taken as they travel the world and the universe.
There will also be community art projects people can add to, while Rapunzel will be in MacLellan’s Castle waiting to be rescued.
This is the first trail since Colin’s wife, Pauline, passed away in December.
People will be able to see the Owl and the Pussycat made as a tribute to her and also try to find the 20 cats in hats in windows around the town.
The arts and crafts trail takes place from tomorrow until Monday with venues open from 11am to 5pm.
