Kirkcudbright’s Emergency Services Day will make its return this weekend.
The event made a successful debut last summer, giving people the chance to find out more about the different organisations keeping them safe.
This year it will centre on Harbour Square on Sunday between 10am and 4pm with more organisations taking part than before.
Representatives of Kirkcudbright RNLI will be there with the Atlantic 85 Inshore Lifeboat along with the police, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Scottish Ambulance, HM Coastguard, Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes, Galloway Mountain Rescue Team, first responders and a team from Kirkcudbright Training Area.
Also making the trip will be the RNLI team from Workington which will be bringing their Shannon class all weather vessel early in the afternoon.
There will also be displays of classic tractors, with a tractor run during the day, and vintage commercial and military vehicles as well as exhibits from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Museum in Greenock.
