Kirkcudbright Lifeboat Station crew members were delighted to receive a new professional grade pressure washer.
The impressive piece of kit came from Kärcher, one of the RNLI’s partners.
Shore crew members Keith Armstrong-Clark and Mike Merry have been getting to grips with the new equipment which will support vital maintenance work at the station.
Manager John Collins said: “It will make our cleaning process much quicker and mean a less tiring task for our volunteers.
“Kärcher will be providing pressure washes and other important cleaning appliances to every RNLI lifeboat station.
“It’s great to have their support.”
The Karcher machine was handed over to the station by Danny Griffiths, field support executive of Karcher UK Ltd.
