According to The Star Tribune’s Ben Goessling, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins will be on the sideline for the first time since he tore his Achilles tendon against the Green Bay Packers.
It’s an important step for Cousins’ recovery. He started walking recently, which his wife had posted on her Instagram page as a story. The video made its way to X, where it had a lot of positive reactions.
Kirk seems to be progressing well 👀

This is big for the Vikings to have him back on the sideline, as the team loves Cousins and the camaraderie and leadership he brings. With Nick Mullens at the helm, Cousins can help with identifying coverages and communication presnap.
The Vikings and Lions will kick off at 12 p.m. CST.
