After rupturing his right Achilles tendon on Sunday afternoon against the Green Bay Packers, quarterback Kirk Cousins had successful surgery on Wednesday morning.
The team reported that the surgery was performed at Twin Cities Orthopedics in Eagan, MN and the surgery was led by Dr. Chris Coetzee.
A successful surgery is the start of a successful rehab. Having his surgery now starts his timeline and he could be ready just after the NFL draft.
Cousins is also going into his rehab process without a contract next year. That will make his free agency process quite interesting.
Until then, we send all the best to Cousins during his rehabilitation.
