Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins was on with the Manning brothers during their ManningCast Monday Night Football telecast on ESPN2, and he showed yet another reason why he is one of the most interesting men in the world. While on the telecast, Cousins whips out a real-life Kohl’s Cash chain sent to him from Kohl’s themselves.
He then posed with the retail-based bling on Twitter, just in case there were any non-believers.

Cousins has proven, without a doubt, that he deserves another year as the QB1 in Minnesota. If you ask head coach Kevin O’Connell right now, he would probably agree. He was playing some of the best football of his career before he exited the Green Bay game with a ruptured Achilles.
That Kohl’s chain is a perfect symbol for Cousins. He doesn’t want to take the shine away from anybody on the field. In his mind, he’s just another one of the guys. But his leadership and ability to command an offense, especially this offense under O’Connell, shines far too bright to be ignored.
This off-season will have some tough decisions for Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and the front office to mull over, but none will be as strenuous as deciding if Cousins will remain the starting quarterback going into 2024.
