The discussion surrounding Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is one that is exhausting beyond belief. Madden 24’s ranking of Cousins should quiet some of that, as he earned an 84 rating, putting him ninth among quarterbacks.
Cousins landed one spot ahead of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and one spot behind New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. That is fair considering the wide range of outcomes for Cousins, who is somewhere between QB 8-15 in the league depending on the day.
Last season, Cousins took a statistical dip in terms of completion percentage, yards, touchdowns and interceptions, but he showed growth in areas that we didn’t expect. Cousins was 11-0 in one-score games with eight fourth-quarter comebacks, both of which were the best in the National Football League.
