Georgia head coach Kirby Smart kept the receipts after his team’s 43-20 win at Florida on Saturday.
To set the stage, former Florida head coach and current ESPN analyst Dan Mullen picked his old team to top the Bulldogs in an upset on Saturday, and Smart must’ve caught wind of Mullen’s hot take and mentioned it in his postgame press conference.
He threw some very direct shade at Mullen for picking the Gators and even said that Mullen “didn’t like to recruit” while he was Florida’s head coach.
Ouch! That is a genuine burn for the former Florida coach, who is probably now rethinking his game pick.

Smart has already been linked to some alleged subtle shade at Michigan for the sign-stealing scandal, but this is the kind of shade you just can’t miss.
Mullen might be sending a “my bad” text to Smart over the next couple of days for picking against Georgia, and we wonder if he’ll be predicting the Bulldogs the rest of the way out. It might not be a bad idea!
