Kinnoull manager piled praise on his promotion-winning players - and highlighted that hard work is rewarded.
The Perth side will move up to the East of Scotland League’s Premier Division next season after confirming their top four placing in the First Division.
A 1-0 win against Kirkcaldy and Dysart at Tulloch Park on Saturday afternoon - Sean Fergus the scorer - secured the promotion with a couple of games to spare.
Kinnoull sit fourth in the table and could yet leapfrog local rivals Luncarty.
Manager Alan Cameron beamed: “I’m extremely proud of the players for what they have achieved this season.
“It has been extremely impressive and the achievement should not be overlooked.
“From day one the boys have worked super hard and, when you work hard in football and in life, you get your rewards.
“Saturday was not the best game due to the conditions and the pitch was a bit fiery, but we can let them off with a poorer performance.
“They still managed to do what was required to win. Sometimes you can’t play well, but you still need to pick up results.”
Cameron, who is preparing his players to host Lochore Welfare on Tuesday night, said post-match celebrations were well-earned.
“The celebrations were quite good after the game,” he smiled.
“We had our Sportsman’s Supper at night too so the day from start to finish was an extremely positive one for the club.”
