Rain has spoilt Alana King's annihilation of the Pakistan batting order as Australia continued their Commonwealth Games warm-up in their T20 clash in Northern Ireland.
Only eight overs in the Tri-Series opener were completed with the match in Derry washed out with the Australians delivering a mixed bag from their bowling spell.
Pakistan collapsed to 6-56, however 28 of those runs came from extras.
Leg-spinner King, who was thrown the ball by captain Meg Lanning in the seventh over, ran riot, snaring three wickets in her single over, with her hat-trick denied by a wide that separated her first and second scalps.
King finished with figured of 3-8, all via LBW, while Megan Schutt collected one wicket against six runs and Ashleigh Gardner 2-11.
"I'm happy to have the ball in my hand in any situation to be honest so it was good to roll a few out," said the 26-year-old King.
"We figured out that anything full was easy to play so we just needed to bring our length back a little bit and make sure that we bring the stumps into play."
Australia will be looking to improve with the ball in their second clash against hosts Ireland.
