Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz met on Wednesday at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah with the governors of the administrative regions to mark their annual 29th meeting, in the presence of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, governor of Makkah Region, Prince Mohammed Bin Nasser, governor of Jazan Region, Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, governor of Riyadh Region, and Prince Fahd Bin Sultan, Governor of Tabuk region.
The attendees also included Prince Saud Bin Nayef, governor of the Eastern Region, Jalawi Bin Abdulaziz Bin Musaed, governor of Najran Region, Prince Dr. Faisal Bin Mishaal Bin Saud, governor of Qassim Region, Prince Dr. Hussam Bin Saud, governor of Al Baha Region, and Prince Turki Bin Talal, governor of Asir Region.
Also present were Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saad, governor of Hail Region, Prince Faisal Bin Salman, governor of Madinah Region, and Prince Faisal Bin Nawaf, governor of Al Jouf Region.
King Salman was briefed on the most prominent topics addressed by the 29th annual meeting of the regional governors.
He praised the officials' efforts to serve the country, citizens and residents, and their keenness to work towards achieving the desired aspirations and comprehensive development.
The reception was also attended by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, Deputy Minister of Interior Dr. Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Hisham Bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih.
Also on Wednesday, King Salman met with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Djibouti to Saudi Arabia, Dya-Eddin Said Bamakhrama, along with the heads of the diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.
During the reception, the ambassadors conveyed the congratulations of the leaders of Arab and friendly countries on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
