In King Legacy Update 10, two new Raid Bosses were introduced to the base game: Serpent and Pteranodon. These raids bring a fresh challenge for players and offer a variety of valuable rewards that can significantly support progression and character building. This guide covers everything you need to know about the raid event, including how to activate the raids, timings, and the rewards you can obtain from each boss.
King Legacy Serpent Raid Boss Guide
The Serpent boss in King Legacy spawns every 90 minutes in the game. When it appears, a whirlpool forms in one of the three seas (Sea 1, Sea 2, and Sea 3), signaling the start of the raid. All you have to do is reach the Whirlpool location by exploring the sea using a boat or flying, and then use a basic fishing rod to lure in the Serpent. Yes, the Serpent won't appear immediately like other boss fights, and you must bring it out of the Whirlpool to fight.

Also, there is only a 20% chance of the Serpent biting your bait. So, it's better to fish with your friends to improve your chances. Once it bites, the Serpent will spawn, and the raid will begin. Remember, if nobody fishes or the Serpent does not bite, the whirlpool will automatically leave in 10 minutes.
Serpent Raid Boss Tips & Tricks
- Always bring one or more of your friends to the fight. Why? The boss has nearly 10 million HP (depending on sea level). So, you'll need some help taking down the boss.
- The Serpent stays still for most of the fight and only sprays fire once in a while. Just learn the timing of the animations to dodge attacks easily.
- Though you can use any builds for the fight, I suggest using something like the Dragon, Gravity, or Light as your main Devil Fruits. For the secondary, the Dark Blade or ATK would be the perfect accompaniment.
- Try to deal as much damage as you can to increase your chance of getting the better rewards from the Serpent Boss. Track your damage under the Boss UI to know the exact numbers.
All King Legacy Serpent Drops
If you have taken down the mighty Serpent, you have the chance to get the following rewards. The drop rate varies depending on the sea level.

- Acromask — 1.%
- Serpent Fin — 15%
- Serpent Heart — 4%
- Acrodagger — 0.7%
King Legacy Pteranodon Raid Boss Guide
The Pteranodon Boss spawns every 120 minutes inside the Skull Dome on the Primeval Island. When it spawns, you will receive the message saying "A Winged Terror Descends: Pteranodon Has Spawned". Travel to the Dome to find the Pteranodon on the ground. If you are confused about the timing, I suggest you check your server time settings to see the exact time remaining until the next spawn.
Pteranodon Raid Boss Tips & Tricks
- Similar to the Serpent, bring your friend to make your life easier to fight against the Pteranodon. Ask your friend to attack the creature while you make use of the blind spots to drain the health quickly.
- The Pteranodon mostly flaps and moves around a lot during the battle. Understand the movement pattern to predict the attacks and dodge them effectively.
- The best build to take down Pteranodon includes Dragon, Pteranodon, Venom, Mochi, and Buddha. Along with that, you can pair something like the Fisherman fighting style and the Kioru V2 sword.

King Legacy Pteranodon & Serpent Boss FAQs
Both the Pteranodon & Serpent Boss are pretty easy if you are above level 2000 and have strong Zoan or Logia-type devil fruits. On top of that, it is really advisable to invite a few friends to the fight to make it even more balanced.
The Pyreblade is a powerful sword in King Legacy that has some of the best stat numbers in the game. It has a 0.12% drop rate from the Pteranodon.
Everybody forgets the fact that the whirlpool only spawns every 90 minutes in the game, and not the Serpent boss. When it spawns, use a basic rod to lure the Serpent out; when it baits, the battle will begin.
