King hails bond between Ukraine and UK to mark country’s independence day

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked the King for his “deeply moving and exceptionally meaningful” message marking the country’s independence day.

The monarch sent the war-torn country his “sincere and special wishes” to commemorate the 35th anniversary of its independence from the Soviet Union.
