Prince Harry has claimed his father was jealous of Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly said the reason his father supposedly said he did not “have money to spare” for him and his wife was because the King feared the American actress would steal his limelight, Harry claims in his memoir, Spare.
Harry says his father had “experienced that before and he had no interest in letting it happen to him again” – in an apparent allusion to the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
