King Charles has ascended to the throne following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
In his first address on Friday, the new monarch promised his lifelong service to the nation. Amid King Charles' new power and responsibilities, people have been speculating about his daily routine.
And a video of the late Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, has been circulating online. In it, Mr Burrell lists a number of unusual demands Charles is said to have made during the time he worked for the Royal Family.

Mr Burrell said: "Everything is done for him. His pyjamas are pressed every morning so that they don't have creases in them. His shoelaces are pressed flat with an iron.
"His underwear is folded in a certain way. The bath towel has to be placed in a certain fashion, the bath plug has to be in a certain position. The water temperature has to be just tepid, and only half full.
"[King] Charles does have his valets squeeze one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush every morning. If anyone gets anything wrong, everyone is scolded."
Once his morning routine is complete, His Majesty is said to have a healthy breakfast. Julian Payne used to help plan the King's schedule and he has provided an insight into his working day.
He said: "The working day is pretty relentless. Beginning with the radio news headlines and a breakfast of seasonal fruit salad and seeds with tea.
"The King doesn’t eat lunch; so, an early lesson I learnt when out on the road with him was to have a big breakfast or bring a few snack bars with you to keep you going."
