Princess Anne has said a slimmed-down monarchy "does not sound like a good idea" as she discussed King Charles' desires for a changing royal family.
In an interview ahead of the Coronation this weekend, the Princess Royal sat down in an interview as she gave her verdict on a streamlined version of the monarchy.
It is well known that King Charles wants to cut down on the number of working members within the Royal Family. The 74-year-old monarch has also envisioned a slightly different Coronation ceremony than his late mother Queen Elizabeth had, and has scaled down plans for the big day including cutting the guest list and shortening the procession.
