King Charles III has addressed the grieving nation for the first time in a moving speech.

Charles, who returned from the Balmoral estate where his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away on Thursday afternoon at the age of 96, arrived in London earlier today.

His Majesty, along with Queen Consort Camilia, met the new Prime Minister, Liz Truss at Buckingham Palace for a meeting following the death of the Queen.
