King Charles lauded for address to US Congress at first garden party of the year

King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the season, celebrating emergency responders and individuals serving their communities.
Approximately 8,000 guests attended the event, which saw all working royals present except the Prince and Princess of Wales.
King Charles was praised by a guest for his recent address to Congress during his US state visit.
His Majesty spoke with paramedic Claire Swinbourne, who shared her experience of being assaulted on duty, with the King acknowledging the unacceptability of such incidents.
Queen Camilla engaged with representatives from SafeLives, a domestic abuse charity of which she is patron, commending their vital work.
