Huge crowds of people are already lining the Royal Mile hours before King Charles III is set to make his way to St Giles' Cathedral.
King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort are in Edinburgh as the His Majesty will be presented the Honours of Scotland on Wednesday, July 5 after he was given his new title last year.
At 1.15pm, the People's Procession will be heading off from Edinburgh Castle Esplanade down to St Giles before a Military Pipe Band will march from Holyrood Palace to West Parliament Square.

The Royal Procession won't begin until 2.05pm, however, crowds have been gathering since Wednesday morning.
Union Jacks are being proudly displayed over the railing by supporters as others have flags in hand ready to wave the procession on.
However anti-monarchy protestors started to line up the Royal Mile from around 10am, chanting 'Not my King' and holding placards.
With this, a number of counter-protests have begun, and eyewitnesses have spotted the two groups shouting chants at each other as the Royalists chant back 'Long live the King'.
