King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla have kept up their jam-packed schedule of appearances, with a joint engagement in London today - but His Majesty was faced with an amusing question by a young school pupil in East London.
The royal couple carried out their first joint parlez together in the capital since becoming King and Queen Consort, visiting a youth project in Walthamstow.
The pair happily went to visit Project Zero - an organisation which bids to reduce anti-social behaviour and knife crime, while also strengthening community spirit and camaraderie.

The Mirror reports that upon arrival, the pair of royals were greeted by primary school students, stopping to chat and taking time out of their hectic day for the youngsters. A clip shows His Majesty meeting and greeting the youth, enquiring about their school holidays and what they eat for lunch at their place of education.
That is until one young boy chimes in with a very pressing question. He asks: "How old are you King Charles?"
And luckily, the ever witty King takes the question with a pinch of salt and quips the perfect comeback of: "Have a guess?"
However, the comeback may have came back to haunt him, with another child appearing to guess '96', leaving the in-fact 73-year-old giggling.
The visit to the youth project comes after several busy days for Charles and Camilla. Yesterday, the King started the day in Aberdeen, where he welcomed refugees from Ukraine, Syria and Afghanistan and learned of efforts to resettle displaced families in the city.
Later he travelled south and held an audience with the President of Gabon at Buckingham Palace, after the formal celebrations of the country’s entry into the Commonwealth. Charles welcomed President Ali Bongo Ondimba to the 1844 room, greeting him warmly with a smile and a handshake.
Earlier in the day the flag of Gabon was raised at the Commonwealth Headquarters, Marlborough House, for the first time.
Meanwhile, Camilla was joined by her sister to have had a night out together at the Booker Prize awards ceremony last night. Literature lover Camilla arrived at the Roundhouse in London with Annabel Elliot, and one of the first people she met was Dua Lipa, who delivered a speech at the event about her love of reading.
Camilla, wearing a black lace cocktail dress by Fiona Clare and diamond earrings by Van Cleef & Arpels, also met shortlisted authors and presented the winner with his prize in what was the first fully in-person Booker Prize awards ceremony since 2019 before the Covid pandemic. Sri Lankan author Shehan Karunatilaka won the award for his book The Seven Moons Of Maali Almeida.
