King Charles III 'outplays Harry and Meghan with Christmas speech and invite'

King Charles III has 'outplayed Harry and Meghan' with his response to their controversial Netflix documentary, says a royal commentator. The series made waves, discussing several royal revelation which reportedly have been noted by Charles and his son Prince William.

Many have speculated if the Sussexes would ever return to royal life after the shocking scenes. However, The Telegraph reports that the King will send invitations to his son and daughter-in-law for his coronation on 6 May next year.

Royal commentator Daniela Elser said that the move "goes a long way towards making the Royal Family look magnanimous and warm-hearted, willing to be the much bigger people and to look past that Netflix nonsense." The King is even set to “mention” the Sussexes in his first Christmas speech.

Th speech was recorded after the first round of episodes from the Netflix docuseries aired on December 8. Elser, writing for News.au, continued: "The same report stated even after the final episodes aired, there was no desire to make any changes to his carefully considered message in the wake of the increasingly ferocious attacks.

"The Palace’s Sun Tzu-worthy strategy goes beyond the Sussexes’ inclusion in next year’s big day to them doing something else that has taken some by surprise. Absolutely nothing.

"The only line that has emerged from the Palace has been a firm 'no comment'. A position from which they will reportedly not be budging."
