King Charles III made a significant public appearance at the royal family's Easter church service on Sunday, his first major outing since being diagnosed with cancer. The 75-year-old monarch, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, attended the service at Windsor Castle alongside his wife, Queen Camilla. The couple greeted the church clergy and waved to well-wishers outside St. George's Chapel before the annual Easter Mattins Service.
Despite his attendance at the service, King Charles III broke tradition this year by not participating in a reception or hosting a private family lunch afterward, following medical advice. However, all of the king's siblings, including Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward, were present at the service. Notably absent were Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their three children, who opted to celebrate Easter privately at their residence in Norfolk.
