King Charles flies to Scotland on private jet after Queen's funeral

Charles travelled to Scotland via private jet with Queen Consort Camilla

KING Charles has flown back to Scotland after Queen Elizabeth was laid to rest at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

The monarch and his family will continue mourning for another week and will not perform any public duties over the next seven days.

A private jet departed from RAF Northolt carrying King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla on Tuesday morning, the Mirror has reported. 

He is due to land in Aberdeen around lunchtime, reports suggest.
