King Charles 'evicts' Harry and Meghan from Frogmore cottage to 'make room for Prince Andrew'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been evicted from Frogmore Cottage by King Charles, according to a report.

The cottage has now been offered to Prince Andrew instead, reports the Mirror. It has been claimed that the King made the decision to remove the Sussexes due to the tension between the couple and the Royal Family.

When Harry released his memoir, Spare, back in January, intimate details were released about the Prince's life in the Royal Family. This included Harry claiming that he found out about the death of the Queen through the BBC website.

The Duke of Sussex, who has been in the media regularly since stepping down from working duties in 2020.

And now it is reported that Harry and Meghan are arranging for the belongings that they still have at Frogmore Cottage to be sent to their home in California after they have been 'evicted'.

A royal insider told The Sun: "This surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK."

It has also been reported that Prince Andrew, who has been swallowed in a scandal of his own, has been offered the Windsor home instead.

However, it is unclear whether Andrew has agreed to move into Frogmore Cottage with reports that he is “resisting”.

The royal insider said: "Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week.

"But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction."

The late Queen gifted Frogmore Cottage to Harry and Meghan following their wedding back in 2018.

This decision to evict Meghan and Harry also throws their attendance at the coronation into even further doubt.

After Harry shared details of his crumbling relationship with his father and brother in his memoir, he is claimed to be "demanding" a summit to discuss ongoing issues ahead of the King's official coronation.

But any thought of an apology from Charles or his brother William appear to be off the cards for Harry.

A source, said to be a family friend, told The Mail: "I hear that William has no intention whatsoever of apologising and remains incandescent, especially around the way his wife, the Princess of Wales, has been treated."
