A fundraiser has been set up for the family of Jamie Aitchison in order to give him “the best send off he deserves.”
Michelle Chalmers has set up the fundraiser as a close friend of the family with £14,960 already donated to the cause.
Tributes were paid to the young West Lothian man who was said to have an "infectious smile" after he was found dead in Bathgate.

Jamie, 20, had previously been reported missing after vanishing from his home in West Lothian.
A frantic search was launched before emergency services were called to a wooded area near Torphichen Road in the town at around 9am on Wednesday.
Tragically Jamie was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Record had shared tributes paid to the young man, with his step sister Emily Knox saying: “Blood doesn’t determine a sibling, it’s family and love that does. Growing up I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by brothers including my two step-brothers, Jamie and Bailey, with Jamie being my older brother.
"I’m absolutely heartbroken to lose a boy I considered my brother, and even more so when realising our youngest brother Oscar will grow up without you.”
Jack Aitchison added: “Kicking lumps out each other toy fighting, Playing football in the living room thinking we were in the champions league final.. Days I’ll never forget and I hope you don’t mate. Like a brother. RIP Jamie Aitchison.”
Whilst Nelly Khan said: “Where to start, my heart hurts so much Jamie, from changing your nappies, to nursery runs, school runs, to having a pint. I watched you grow into a lovely young man, I have so many memories of you cuz you're gonna be missed so much, love you always Jamie.”
Michelle who organised the fundraiser had said that any donations would be appreciated to help the family during this difficult period.
Her message on GoFundMe said: “As the closest friends of Debbie Anne, myself and Leeann would like to support Debbie Anne to help give her beautiful boy Jamie, who was taken suddenly, the best send off he deserves.
“It’s hard enough for any mother to lose her child so we would like to support her through this and not have her worrying about funeral costs on top of it all.
“Any donations would be so much appreciated.”
