A Kind-hearted Edinburgh takeaway owner has promised to give away thousands of pounds worth of pizza to help with the cost of living crisis. Marc Wilkinson, 55, who owns Pure Pizza, will give away the free food to Scots who visit his shop in Morningside Drive during the month of January.
The takeaway boss who opened his business in March 2020 hopes the act will benefit locals as well as staff and suppliers.
He told the BBC: "I'm very happy with my plan because it's a win, win, win for everyone. The customers benefit, the suppliers benefit and my team of chefs benefit as it gives them more hours of work.
