Kind Edinburgh son let elderly mum sit on his lap for hours at Tom Jones concert

A doting son let his elderly mum sit on his lap for six hours through a Tom Jones concert when the venue couldn’t give them a chair.

The mother and son duo were attending Tom Jones at Edinburgh Princes Street Gardens on Thursday August 11. Bystanders noticed Mary, who has mobility issues, didn't want to sit at the back to miss the show wasn't strong enough to stand throughout.
