A WOMAN allegedly murdered by her husband at their Hunter Valley property has been remembered as "the best mum".
Natalie Galcsik tragically died after suffering significant injuries, allegedly at the hands of Steven Galcsik, at her family's bed and breakfast in wine country on Friday night.
A fundraising page set up by family has drawn tributes for the 46-year-old mother and more than $54,000 to support her children.
"Anyone who knew Natalie and her amazing kids would know how kind and selfless she was," one friend wrote.
Another described her as a "beautiful soul".
A heartfelt message from a family member on the GoFundMe page said Natalie was "the best mum" who "dedicated her life" to her children with "selflessness and love despite difficult circumstances".
Police allege Mr Galcsik, 47, murdered his wife Natalie, also known in court documents as Natalia, between 6pm and 6.15pm at Pokolbin on September 27.
Mr Galcsik was refused bail on one charge of domestic violence murder in Newcastle Local Court on Monday.
He remained in the court cells during the brief mention.
Police rushed to the Coulson Road property after a family member raised the alarm just after 6pm on Friday, and officers found a "confronting" scene.
Detectives arrested Mr Galcsik at the property, which has accommodation on it, without incident at about 7pm and he was taken to Cessnock Police Station.
Strike Force Stockport police combed the scene into the weekend.
The investigation is expected to continue for some time, as detectives piece together the circumstances of the alleged murder.
