Kim Kardashian subtly hit back at ‘photoshopping’ claims on Wednesday by sharing a video of her and her family posing together for their viral family's viral Christmas photoshoot.
The 42-year-old was accused by naysayers in her Instagram comments of editing the original image, claiming it looked as if different photos of the star and her sisters had been cut together to give the illusion of a group photograph.
Hitting back at the accusations, Kardashian shared a video to her Instagram Story showing herself, the family’s matriarch Kris Jenner, 67, and sisters Khloe, 38, Kourtney, 43, Kylie, 25, and Kendall, 27, posing side by side at their annual Christmas Eve party.
Although the SKIMS mogul didn’t address the controversy directly, the clip proved that all the family shown on the original snap did indeed pose together, clad in their glamorous formal attire.
The furore initially broke out in the comments section of Kardashian’s original post, which was shared on Tuesday, where several eagle-eyed social media users claimed that a few of the photos appeared distorted and were edited.
Notably, one picture had many also claiming that the placement of Kendall’s feet suggested that the snap had been edited.
One social media user penned: “Why though? It’s so hard to take a picture together? Isn’t it harder to photoshop each and every one in? This family is baffling.”
A second shared: “Did they just take everyone’s favourite picture and paste it all together?”
“Why do their faces all looked photoshopped in the picture like none of them were actually there?” another added.
A third posted: “Why does it look photoshopped,” while another wrote: “I’d like to see the unedited version.”
The Kardashians and Jenners have found themselves accused of various Photoshop fails over the years.
Just last month, people zoomed in on the picture Kris alleged was the one she was sending out as her 2022 Christmas card.
The image surprised fans as it also featured her boyfriend Corey Gamble and was the first time in their eight years of being in a relationship that they have appeared on a Christmas card together.
Many felt that something seemed off about the post, however.
“This is too basic looking for you ma’am,” remarked one.
“So much effort has gone into this card,” joked another.
“Corey looking like he gotta pee,” added a third, followed by a crying with laughter emoji.
