Kim Kardashian has split fans over a photoshoot with daughter North West which showed the SKIMS co-founder and her children posing together at a beach.
She posted the holiday snaps on her Instagram account yesterday, including photos of her eldest child North, nine, attempting to carry the mother-of-four on her back.
North - whose father is Kanye West, 45 - appeared to successfully hold up Kim in one photo, though another showed them on the sand having seemingly fallen over.
The photoshoot - which was also captured by paparazzi - has however divided fans on Reddit, with some expressing concern over an adult being carried on the back of a child.
"I don't care how strong her daughter is that s*** is not cool. Her daughter can develop [a] hernia for carrying her fat a**," commented one person in response to the photos.
Another said: "I think it's absolutely ridiculous that Kim is on the back of her 9 year old." A third wrote: "Kim probably forced her to potentially f*** up her back for a few pics."
Another person responded to the pose by asking in the thread: "Does anyone find it extremely concerning a mother would hop into her 9 years old's back with their full weight?"
It was further commented that there could be a risk of injury by doing such a pose. Others said the photoshoot was "weird" and "insane," with one adding: "Poor North's back."
And amid speculation over whether it was North's idea, one person wrote in their response: "I know better than not to risk damaging their developing back, even if it's their idea."

Other fans however have come to Kim's defence over the pose, with a number of people commenting that it's not unusual for a child to want to carry an adult or older sibling.
"Kids love trying to pick people up. [...] It's normal," said one parent in response to the recent backlash. Another wrote: "My son is 10 and he's constantly trying to pick me up."
Another said: "North could've told Kim to get on her back. Like what's wrong with y'all. Kids do that ish all of the time. 'I'm strong and I can pick you up! Let me show you'."
They further commented about the situation in their response: "I think all kids go through that phase of thinking they can pick up every single adult in their immediate circle."
"Kids are always obsessed with trying to lift their parents," commented another person over the backlash. Whilst another said that North was "clearly having a good time."
The Mirror approached Kim's rep for comment.
